Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona

Disobeying an harassment order

I went to my arraignment and the judge said I could get 6 months in jail and a $2500 fine. This is a misdemeaner.

The person who got this order is an ex=boyfriend who beat me and brainwashed me for several years. He owed me money and I believe he got this judgement so he didn't have to pay me. Can any of this be admissible in a trial?

Re: Disobeying an harassment order

Is your question re: admissibility of your past history together? i.e. the beatings and brainwashing, the money owed? The judge will determine the admissibility of any evidence offered. If you have documentation, police reports, witnesses, etc. you may want to think about offering this as proof. The judge (and jury) determine the weight and credibility of any evidence which is admitted.
