Drug Charges

My childrens dad was at my home while I was out of state and the police were called because of a different matter but in the process the police located marajuana in my garage. My childrens dad was arrested for this but was released with no charges but from what people are telling me they are going to put the charges on me because the drugs were in my home. The drugs are not mine and I don't know how to handle this situation.

The best thing that you can do right now is retain an attorney to start a defense now, rather than waiting until charges are filed. Some avenues that can be pursued now will be gone later.
