Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona

old DV case

How do I file a motion to set aside a judgement from a case from 1994. Everything the judge ordered me to do has been done. I'm just trying to clean up my record.

Re: old DV case

Certain criteria must be fulfilled in order to file a motion to set aside judgment. My suggestion would be to contact an attorney to prepare the documents because if you fail to address an issue that the judge requires, he/she may deny it on form rather than content. That would delay your ability to "clean up your record" considerably.

There is a process and, frankly, it's a bit of pain. I say this as I have represented a lot of clients in doing this in the past. If you are need to legal assistance for the process and wanted to talk further, please call me at (six zero two) two two two - nine two three seven.
