when can evadence be used
if an illegal substance is found and belived to be left by you. but is not on our person can it be used

Yes possession can be actual or constructive. It is on your person, in your car in your closet -that is actual. You have the key to a storage locker - inside is methamphetamine - you are in constructive possession of the methamphetamine. Three people are in a truck - police search the vehicle incident to arrest and find 3.5 grams of methamphetamine all three people are in constructive possession of the drug.
