Failure to appear
what would happen to someone who failed to appear in court fo their sentancing, if they fled the state would time be added to their original time to serve?

You can be sure time will be added to your sentence, unless you stay hidden for the next twenty years and spend that time dedicated to helping widows, orphans and lepers.

The court is very likely to impose a more
severe sentence
Further, it can also direct prosecution of
a new crime of bail jumping, and
impose additional consecutive time if convicted
of this new crime
