Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona

Failure to appear warrant. I don't wanna go to jail....

I was suppose to go to court for vehicle theft which was my original offense. I never went to court and they sent me a letter telling me i have a warrant for failure to appear. This was almost a year ago. My life is so messed upbecause of it, but i don't want to go to jail. Is htere a way that i can find out how much i would hve to pay to get it all behind me, or will i still i have to go to court for te original offense? I have fines in which i hthink they are for the failure to appear, but i don't know if that is for the original offense also. I'm only 19 and i'm trying to do everything not to go to jail for a long time and i definately don't want to go to prison.

Contact a criminal defense lawyer in your town. If you don't know any contact the Arizona Bar Association [phone book] and ask for 3 referrals. If you can't afford a private lawyer after talking to 3, contact the Public Defender in your town [phone book]. Get legal advice. Your continued failure to act may get you arrested and imprisoned with a high bond since you are a fugitive. If you get stopped for a traffic offense you will be arrested on the spot. Get a lawyer. Do it now.
