Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona

can the feds and local law enforcement question me after being accused of a crime, then at the end read me my rights. I then refused to talk, can the info be used against me

Whether or not police need to read your Miranda right mainly hinges on if you are in "custody." - defined as whether a reasonable person would believe that they are free to leave. If there is no Miranda violation your statement is admissible. The more important thing to look at is that you are under investigation. In my experience, some of the most effective work I can do for clients is before they are arrested or charged. I can sit down with the agents and prosecutors and figure out what the situation is all about. If this is something that you want to pursue and you are able to hire private counsel, give me a call.
