There is nothing that can be done until a person has a or a next court hearing at which release is discussed. This cannot be hurried along although most jurisdictions have a requirement that persons can only be held for a certain number of hours of days before they must be charged and/or seen by a judge. Aside from that you must just be patient and wait.
