A grand jury indictment means that a group of people called a grand jury heard a summary of the evidence against your father and brother, and determined there is probable cause to charge them with the alleged crimes. Your father and brother are now formally charged and will need to appear in court. If they do not already have attorneys they should consult and retain one immediately. Good luck.
