If your son has a felony conviction, he cannot have immediate or constructive possesion of a firarm, therefore no firearms can be in the home if he lives with you.

If your son is either on probation or community supervision or if he has not had his rights to possess a firearm restored then he cannot have access to any firearms. So, even if the firearms technically belong to you, if he has access to them he can be charged with Misconduct Involving Weapons which is a class 4 felony.
