A charge of armed robbery does not imply that anyone was hurt. It means that the defendant(s) committed a robbery while armed. Had someone been hurt your husband would probably be charged with other crimes in addition to armed robbery.
Perhaps you meant to say that your husband has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon (ADW). A charge of ADW also does not imply that anyone was hurt, since an unsuccessful attempt to injure another person can qualify. If you shoot at me and miss, for example, you have still committed ADW.
