Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona
illegal interview?
I was called in by a detective and told i had no choice but to come in. once there i was told i could leave at anytime but i felt if i did i would be arrested on the spot. i was interviewed and then let go. I was never given my rights until i was sentenced 3 or 4 months later which was given to me by the judge.
I also noted in my paper work after i served my time that there was video taped evidence from my interview yet i was never told i was being recorded nor did i see a camera, is all this legal?

Re: illegal interview?
The facts that you present may give rise to a motion to have your confession thrown out. Unfortunately, this cannot occur until and unless you are charged. If you are looking for representation, as you should be because this sounds serious, please contact my office to set up a meeting.
