Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona

Juvenile Laws

my 15 year old son was charged with a domestic violence for property damage under $250.00 at his parents home. he was handcuffed and taken to a juvenile facility where he was detained for a few hours. his parents, considered the victims, does not want to press any charges and have decided to take care of the matter. however, there is an appointment for the juvenile, a diversion program with a juvenile officer. the other is a possible court date to address the charge. what are the best options for the parents who does not want their son to go through any type of legal process, whether through juvenile diversion or through the courts? please advise. thank you
