Your question is vague, but I will answer as best I can. In AZ, a person is prohibited from carrying a "deadly weapon" in furtherance of certain crimes, and must tell a police officer upon contact if he has a "deadly weapon" on his person. The definitions of "deadly weapon" could be interpreted to include a fixed blade knife, but it depends on the circumstances and the weapon itself. In certain circumstances, it could be a prohibited weapon. If you want a more specific answer, please add some more details to your question.
