Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona
Lifetime Probation
I am on Lifetime probation through the State of Arizona. However, I now live in another state under the interstate compact agreement for probation. I have lived out of the State of Arizona for 10 years now. Is it an option to have my probation permanently transferred to the state I am now living in if the courts here agree to it? I have no intention of moving back to Arizona.

Re: Lifetime Probation
No. Your case did not arise outside AZ, so interstate supervision is the only option you have when you reside outside AZ. The courts in your present state of residence lack jurisdiction to create a case in your name when you have committed no crime in that state.
