Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona
Marijuana Charges
The Sheriff Dept. came to my house because someone reported drug deals going on there. I said they could come in but did not say they could search. They had no warrant. He said if I had a pipe or something to just give it to them and it would be over quick. I did and thats when they searched the house. They only found a few 1 1/2'' tall plants growing in my shed. They took all of it. Then they asked if I was willing to work as an informant to cut some or all charges. I said ok. I have never been arrested or charged or even seen a Judge. I had plans to go to Texas. Now that I am ready to go he says that if I go before he is done with me he will have to file on me. I just need to know if I can legaly go to Texas.

Re: Marijuana Charges
Yes, you can legally go to TX, but you will probably be filed on and returned to AZ.
You must discharge your obligations to law enforcement as agreed before you are free of the potential charges against you.
