Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona
Patient Rights at Trial
A patient of mine is facing trial. She has been advised to accept a plea bargain which I as her physician and her physical therapist deem inapproprite as she has had a recent stroke with a speech impediment as well as weakness. Please advice the direction to look for case law in support of our beliefs Thx --name removed--J.--name removed--M.D.

You can look online at Findlaw.com, but don't expect much help as physical disability is seldom a defense to the commission o a crime. Why isn't she talking this over with her lawyer?
