Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona
Before a plea is accepted the Judge questions a defendant to ensure he understandswhat he is pleading to ...and he says "and do you understand that absent a plea agreement these 3 counts could be made to run one on top of the other(consecutively), would this mean the sentence would run concurrent? (ie rule 17.2b advising defendant of any special conditions regarding sentence)

I guess if he is saying that it is not running consecutively that is the same thing as saying it is running concurrent. That would be my guess unless told otherwise. However, you may want to seek clarification from the court, prosecutor's office, prison, etc. Good luck!
