i was wondering if you can get arrested for possession of prescription drug in arizona.

You need to check with a Arizona criminal lawyer.
Generally, if you have a valid prescription issued for the quantity, specific drug, and in your name you cannot be arrested if the quantity, specific drug is found on you. However, you still can be arrested for driving while intoxicated or impaired while having consumed prescription drugs. Use of prescription drugs does not excuse driving while intoxicated or impaired arising from consumption of such prescription drugs.
