Search and seizure law requires the expertise of a trained criminal defense attorney. There are many nuances to this area of law and if you believe the police violated your constitutional rights, it's best to find an attorney who can review the specific facts in your case. However, generally, the police can search your vehicle pursuant to an inventory search without a warrant. Hope this helps. Best of luck to you!
