Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona
Restitution
My girlfriend was ordered to pay 16,000 in restitution. Can this be either lowered or spaced out over a longer period of time so she doesn't have to pay as much each month? What is the procedure for doing so?

Re: Restitution
The court documents which require restitution and provide a schedule for payments must be modified to accomplish what you seek. That can be done on ly by petitioning the court supervising the probation and asking that the schedule be modified to reduce the monthly payments.
