rights violation

my son confessed and turned himself in for theft and pled out for a max 2 year agreement but there is a co-defendent and everytime the co-defendents trial date comes up it gets continued so the prosecuter is constintly continueing my sons sentencing dates so is there any violations to my sons rights or is therre any course of action we can take to stop his sentencing date from being continued

You have the right to object to the Motion to Continue the Sentencing each time the Prosecutor files his motion. The next time he/she files the motion, he/she needs to give you notice of the motion and then at that point you would object and state your reasons.
