Jeff is going to be sentenced next week.
Is there anything that would help, our

him know what kind of person Jeff is. If
you have any suggestions please let us

Re: Sentencing
Jeff should have an attorney who will advocate for him at the sentencing. Of course, showing the judge another side to Jeff other than the commission of the crime is very important. Contact his attorney and he/she should have a format to go by to write these letters. If not, a general format is to tell the judge your background, how long you have known Jeff, and your relationship. Explain what kind of person you have seen him to be, providing some examples. In the last section, explain that you know what he is pleading guilty to, but despite that fact, you believe that he can still be a productive member of society (explain why you think this) and that you believe that he has already learned from his mistakes (if such is the case). I don't know what the charges are, so you will have to have his attorney help you out with the details. This is just a general format.
