Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona
I was sexually assaulted in 2008 by a staff member at a hospital I was recovering from brain surgery. In the past month and half I have tried to file a police report but I am being told that there is not enough staff with the police department to take my report. Or they leave me waiting 3-4 hours and still don't show before I have to leave. My question is about reporting this incident to the police before or after I contact the hospital and file a complaint with them? If this individual is still employed I don't want to scare him off before the police investigate, but then again I need to contact someone about this.

Having represented numerous victims, and now presently representing a sexual assault victim, I am very familiar with the extra "push" that it sometimes takes to get this type of case documented. Would you please email me some additional details about the hospital and the date of occurrence. This may well be something we can help you out with.
