Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona

my sister in law has charges for kidnap hostage ransom .theff by extortion and might have human traffic. She was a passenger on this car not knowing what was going on they got arrested.She has plead not guilty and will have court 03/15/10 what should she do? Also they had scheduled court that same week but they cancelled.She states she has not seen an attorney and that they have not assigned her one?

Based on the nature of the case, it will be assigned to a specific group of the county attorney's office. They typically prosecute these cases very aggressively and usually want defendants to go to prison. The reality is that if she has an appointed attorney, it may be some time until that attorney gets in touch with her. If you are looking for someone to pay more attention to the case and give it a more "personal touch," it probably means that you should hire a private attorney.
