Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona
my son 17 being charged as an adult. after being drilled by police
After baby sitting my son 17 had only been 17 one month. was called by police to come in for questioning we came in police asked me to wait out side. when he went inside they asked him to sign a waiver giving them permison to speak to them with out me present after four hours my son confesed to touching a child in her vaginal area. Only a small pat.He came out upset and after heraring his story I beleve he did not do it so does anothe law inforcment person there that day. 4 months past car broke down he was aressted. They never allowed him to call 4 hours went by and I did not know where he was I only found out when I called police to help find him. I asked about why they did not allow phone call they said becouse that was only to call an attorney. He is being charged as an adult. Our attorney waived his right to a speedy trial. How long can this drag out. Is that better. The little gorl said yes Nathan touched her but her or the mother statment remain consistant. the mother is my cousin I feel she did this for attention from other family members. The girl is very vocal and speaks well her and mom have accused others of this before Our attorney has asked we dont call saying it takes up time he should work on case I just need advi
