What is the Statute of Limitations on a Class 1 Misdemeanor in Arizona?

one year is the standard Statute of Limitations for misdemeanors in Arizona, except for petty offenses (things that don't carry the possibility of jail time). Class 1 Misdemeanor is one step from a Class 6 Felony so it's the most serious misdemeanor you can have, definitely not a petty offense.
