Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona
Urination in public
I received a ticket for urination in public and was told I had to go in front of the Judge to find out how much the fine would be. So I did of course. I payed the fine to the court. Is this something that will show on my criminal background employment check?

Re: Urination in public
Although it's a petty offense it should show up. If it was a first offense, there may have been a way to get on a diversion program, whereby you go through a class and the charge gets dismissed. You can still apply to have the conviction set aside by the judge after paying the fine. Because it is a petty offense, it should not harm employment to a great extent depending, of course, on what kind of job you are going for.
