Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona

Violation of probation hearing arraignment

I received a subpeona for a violation of probation hearing arraignment with charges pending. Is it possible they will try to hold me in jail until I get before a judge. I do not have a large criminal history, have family to care for and a solid responsible job position. Obviously not a threat of absconding. This is an assault case.

Generally, if you have been summoned to court, the State does not seek to arrest you. Given your situation, you should have counsel before going to the hearing. I've done plenty of similar matters in the past, and if you are looking to hire counsel, give me a call at (six zero two) two two two - nine two three seven.
