Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona

Warrant for Arrest

i have not reported to my probation officer since i was released from jail. i was released 05/02/06 and am basically homeless. i stay with friends most of the time but i dont want to go in to my probation officer looking like that. i am pretty sure i have a warrant out for my arrest. i am thinking about turning myself in what are the chances that i will have to do any jail time? i have two marijuana charges, shoplifting, and an unpaid ticket. please let me as soon as possible so that i can make my decision.

Re: Warrant for Arrest

You will likely be held until your revocation arraignment - about 7 days after your initial appearance (assuming this is a superior court matter). You may get bail depending on the facts of your case. The same applies to additional jail time. If you are looking to hire private counsel, you are welcome to contact me at (six zero two - two two two - nine two three seven). Fees would run approximately $2,500-$3,000.
