Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona
Warrant Confusion
Arizona courts say I have FTA warrant issued, however, Sheriff's Department says I don't have a warrant. I thought my public defender took care of this and she told me I didn't have to appear and it was quashed, but now I can't get her to send me proof of the paperwork so I can resolve this. Do I or don't I have a warrant? How can I clear this up?

Re: Warrant Confusion
Since the public defender is not cooperating, you will need to do this yourself or get another lawyer. The clerk of the court will provide you with a certified copy of your file, which will explain what actually happened in court. Make sure to include the minutes and the docket sheet.
