Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona
I have a warrant for probation violation (not fullfilling payment arrangement) for restitution. I noticed a bond amount was set. My question is can i go to court house and pay the bond and get a court date set or will they just arrest me on the spot? I live in phoenix arizona by the way if that matters.

Generally if you arrive at court with the bond amount in hand you will be able to go home the same day.

I agree with my colleague, however, it wouldn't hurt to hire a private criminal defense attorney to file the appropriate motions on your behalf. Most will file a motion to quash your warrant for a reasonable fee. Good luck.
