Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona
My Wife and I were charged with criminal trespass in Tucson. In addition I was also charged with criminal disorderly conduct (gave security camera the finger) and littering (dropped my gum on the sidewalk on private property on camera)
It appears the officer inserted the wrong dates on both complaints since the incident was on 09/17. Should we request the case be dismissed on this technicality? Thanks in advance for your help. No criminal past. Not even a traffic offense.

The wrong date on a complaint by itself will not prevent prosecution of the case. The court might allow amending the complaint to reflect the proper date or the complaint may be dismissed without prejudice allowing for another complaint with the proper date to be filed.
