Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona
What will happen if a a person who is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing does not show because they are in rehab or under psychiatric evaluation?

It depends. If you simply fail to appear, a warrant will issue. If you have an attorney, talk to him/her as the attorney can take steps to avoid negative repercussions.
