Legal Question in DUI Law in Arizona

Arizona DUI laws

How have we let the system get to this point? Soon all bars will close and restaurants will only serve soda and water. If you are familiar with the new AZ laws, you know they are over the top and too excessive. Talking with an attorney yesterday, he completely agrees. Get this, my mom can get a DUI for having a class of wine with dinner, then she would be in tent city with inmates for at least a week, then have to install a breathalyzer in her car for a year and finally pay over $5000 in fines, lawyers and court fees. Its absourd, we have to draw the line. How can we get these new laws reversed or examined more closely? Remember, at one time people thought Prohibition was a good idea. Question Authority.

I'm afraid that you have posted a statement, not a question. I agree with you; BUT, you need to direct your criticism to your local legislators. Best of luck, Ed Loss
