Legal Question in DUI Law in Arizona

DUI Marijuana

My son was stopped by sheriff's depatment after rndomly running his license plate. The officer told him his insurance had been canceled. It was not canceled. The officer asked if he had been drinking. He hadn't. He blew 0.00 on PBT. The officer then asked if he had smoked marijuana. He said he had 10 1/2 hours earlier in the day. He was asked do do some field sobriety tests. He was placed under arrest and taken to a nearby station where the officers performed many other tests. They checked his heart rate 3 times. Did pupil dialation tests twice, had him do the 9 step and pivot test, hold his leg up 6'' and estimate 30 seconds. I got a copy of the police report and none of that information is in the report. Do they have to document what they did concerning the tests. I think it was intentionaly omitted because my son most likely passed them all. I know AZ law doesn't require him to be impaired, only has to be metabolites in his system but, don't the cops have to report everything?

Re: DUI Marijuana

Was he ever arrested? Is your concern because of an invasion of privacy? If he was in fact arrested and indicted for the offense then he very well may have a good case that would render him innocent. I would need more details to make that determination. I do not charge for a 1/2 hour consultation for criminal law cases. If you are interested we can discuss your case in more detail.
