Re: dui warrant
Ordinarily, most states will not extradite a person on a misdemeanor warrant. What could happen to you is that you could be tried in absentia (without your presence and without any defenses you might have) where you will most certainly lose. Your drivers's license will then be affected as Arizona law provides. I am not licensed in Arizona and can not tell you what could happen there. Assuming that your driving privileges will be affected, that same affect will carry over to Montana - again I am assuming that is the state that issued your driver's licesne. The usual rule is that you must satisfy the requirements of the state that suspended or revoked your driver's license before your Montana driving privileges will be restored. There is a new Montana Supreme Court case that seems to say you can apply to have your privileges restored one year after the out of state suspension. None of us here are sure yet what that case really means as the Court was unclear as to whether or not a person can actually have their privileges restored. Application after a year is all they said was possible.
Hope this answers your question. Good Luck!
