Legal Question in Education Law in Arizona
What does it mean?
in a contract that I am looking at I came across the Phrase
''further agrees to comply with applicable State and Federal laws, Governing Board Policies, Administrative Regulations and rules (incorporated into this Contract by reference), now in effect and as may be revised or modified during the term of this Contract.''
looking at-- (incorporated into this Contract by reference)
what does that mean?
and of course
''and as may be revised or modified during the term of this Contract''
Thanks

Re: What does it mean?
from the limited information given, the basic legal answers to your questions are as follows:
1) incorporation by reference simply means to include language from another document or elsewhere in a document by reference rather than repeat it. I.E. "Plaintiff incorporates by reference all of the allegations contained in the First and Second Causes of Action previously stated."
2) a modification in a contract (if permissible) simply means any material performance changes to the contract MUST subsequently be AGREED upon by both parties before the original contract can be legally discarded or altered.
