Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
In 2010 I did a step parent adoption of my now ex husbands daughter. Since the adoption our relationship has deteriorated. She has become verbally and physically abuse towards me. She see's me as a mother on paper and not her mother. She does not want me in her life. Is it possible to end this relationship? If so how do I proceed. I want to end my legal/fiancial responsibilities to my adopted daughter.

WILL Father agree to terminate your legal and financial obligation? IF SO, I can draft an appropriate contract to do so.
If he would not agree, then while you can, simply by choice, choose not to have a relationship with her, I could not get you out of any child support obligation that he may pursue.
THERE ARE STRATEGIC CHOICES that you can make which may affect his desire to even pursue child support, which I would need to explain in further detail.
We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options. This is obviously a very important matter, and you should not go in alone.
One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.
Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Alicia or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation. PLEASE ASK FOR ME IN PARTICULAR.
