Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

17 year old daughter will be 18 july 1st.She has her diploma and is no longer living with her mother. However mother is telling daughter to lie to father and tell him that she still lives with mother so that mother can recieve child support. Daughter lives and works in another town from mother. Can child support be stopped by father through the courts?

You should immediately ask mother to sign an agreed termination of support. Otherwise, you should file to terminate. The only question is whether Mother is sending the support to the person who is caring for your daughter.
