Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

I am a 21 year old female with a one year old daughter. I had my child out of wedlock in the state of Arizona. The fathers name is on the birth certificate but he is never around. Now he wants to come around and I fear him taking my daughter away from me. Can I move out of state without his knowledge?

If there is not a court order granting the father legal decision making or parenting time, there is nothing preventing your relocation technically. You may however want to seek additional advice prior to moving. We offer free consultations for up to 30 minutes. Feel free to schedule if you need further assistance. 623-748-8973
