Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

10 yrs ago I divorced my husband in Colorado, my children and I have been living in Arizona. i have tried taking my ex to court for the 20,000 plus in back child support through DES but the judge in Colorado threw the case out, i have no idea why and feel that i wasnt treated fairly, however i dont have the money to pay for a lawyer to take my case.. My ex husband in a police office in the town where to case was thrown out and the judge knows him personally...i just need to know what to do. from here or is it a lost cause.

Unless he has assets, business, or otehjr contacts with Arizona, those arrears cannot be enforced in Arizona.

I would thus urge you to seek Colorado legal advice.
