Re: Adultery

You havent provided much in the way of facts. I dont know what your relationship to the person who committed adultery might be. Assuming it is your spouse & you no longer want to be married to the person, you can file for a divorce. Arizona is a NO FAULT state, and it doesnt matter if one party was at fault or unfaithful, the marriage just has to be irretrievably broken for a divorce to be granted. Courts in Arizona generally dont look to which spouse is irresponsible or responsible for the brackdown of the marriage. You should talk with a professional counselor to determine what your personal goals are in regards to the marriage. If you want out, get out by hiring an attorney or filing on your own. If you qualify based on limited income there are Divorce Clinics in most areas of the state conducted by Legal Aid. Go to http://www.azlawhelp.org/ to find services in your county. If you choose to file for divorce on your own the Maricopa County Self Service Center at http://www.superiorcourt.maricopa.gov/ssc/forms/forms_available.asp is a good place to start. If you dont happen to live in Maricopa County, just change the name of the County in the heading of the form. Good Luck.
