How old do you have to be to choose where you wnat to live?

Re: Age
Arizona really does not have an age at which a child can simply choose where to live. Instead, the Court must ALWAYS "consider" a child's desires. But it is only one factor of many, as the Court must look at the overall circumstances to determine the child's best interests.
As a child gets older, their opinion carries more weight.
I can explain the issues better by phone or in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via e'mail. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss the matter in more detail.
Please call me directly to discuss the specifics of your case, or contact my assistant Audrey to schedule a free 1/2 hour consultation. I look forward to talking with you.
