appeal a court ruling
petition to modify child visitation order was denied, judge did not take evidence of fathers domestic violence, alcohol and drug abuse into consideration, can a petition to appeal this ruling be submitted?

Yes, but you only have 14 days from the ruling for an appeal to the appellate court. While you do that, file a motion for reconsideration with the judge that made the decision.
