arizona divorce laws

my husband of almost 6yrs has asked for a divorce.no children I am 54 he 67.what rights if any do I loose if I leave the house,which is in his name only,he has told me to leave, Thank you for your help. Terri

Terri,

If your husband purchased the home before marriage, then it would be his separate property. There are exceptions for any contributions you made prior to marriage and possibly during marriage. Just because you leave the house does not mean you waive any rights you may have in the property.
