In Arizona, we have joint leagal custody with mothers residence as childs primary residence. dose that mean she has sole physical custody?

Well, maybe a better term is "Primary Physical Custody". In fact, Arizona does not even use those terms any more. How old are your orders?

Orders as to Decision Making, Parenting time and child support are modifiable if there have been changed circumstances.
