Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

Arizona - I got a promotion at work that will require me to move 4 hours from my sons father. He is requesting that I take full responsibility for all cost and travel time for his visitation, although it is no more than he is doing now with the new agreement. Can he do this?

Arizona laws indicated that the parties should split this responsibility. It sounds like you need help. Call our office if you would like to discuss this in person. Stephanie Coulter @ 602 462 1004 can make arrangements for us to discuss this.

If your move is being made in good faith, I would expect a Court to allocate travel expenses either equally or in proportion to your incomes.

We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options for dealing with this issue.

One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Alicia or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation.
