Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
I had Back Child Support owed and my check was guarnished at the rate of 290.00 a month and I payed it for 4 years. aprox. one year ago it was paid off but they say that there was interest so I have now paid on the interest for aprox. one year and this morning they say I still owe 6000.00 and it keeps growing . How can it be legal to charge interest on interest ? One of the kids I paid interest on isn"t even mine. But because I raised her I have to pay support. These kids are in thier mid 20"s.

IT IS NOT LEGAL to charge interest on interest. My office cna prepare an EXACT calculation for you, and if the state is off, we wil file a Motion to fix it.
