Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

Back-Child Support

My mother owes myself and my two brothers, over $10,000 in back child support. I want to know if I can sue her for back chil support and if so, what I need to do to start it.

Thank you.

Re: Back-Child Support

If the court in Nevada has jurisdiction over your mother and if there are no other jurisdictional issues, you can contact the Family Support Division and they will pursue your mother for you and or you can hire an attorney to pursue your mother for the back support. If you wish to proceed through a private attorney, contact that attorney and set up an appointment. That attorney will explain to you what you need to do, what documents you will need, etc.
